Cost Reduction Engineer



We are currently recruiting for an experienced cost reduction engineer with a strong mechanical bias to work within the Northamptonshire area.



The Cost reduction engineer will be working within a technical team to validate cost down proposals from purchasing, taking part in technical reviews with supplier components.



The cost reduction engineer will be responsible for ensuring that any cost reduction activity has no implications to the overall quality of the product or adherence to standard or technical specifications.



It would be advantageous if the Cost reduction engineer has knowledge of / experience in the following



- Engine testing

- Rig testing

- FEA

- Modal analysis

- Engine component design
